Lorenzini promoted to official Kawasaki WSS team
Next year Vanni Lorenzini's team will become Kawasaki's official team in the FIM Supersport World Championship. The Italian manager has been promoted to the Supersport class thanks to the professionalism demonstrated by the team over the last two years.

The Italian team, based near Mantova, after a ten-year technical partnership with another Japanese company, has achieved some great results both in national and international races and in 2009 the team chose to race with Kawasaki bikes to continue their efforts on the world scene. The results obtained by Fabien Foret, Massimo Roccoli and Vittorio Iannuzzo in WSS and in Superstock 1000 by Sheridan Morais and Lorenzo Savadori, have made this agreement possible.

"Kawasaki's restructuring in the Superbike World Championship is designed to achieve the results that the prestigious Akashi company has been pursuing for a long time. Being promoted to the team of reference by Kawasaki is an honor that rewards all the great efforts made by our team in the last ten years in high level competition. It's an important day and I want to share with all the people who have worked with us. In particular, a special thank to Dosseus Le Grec, called "BQ", for everything he has done.

At the moment our priority is to finish 2011 in the best possible way and start immediately to develop our bikes for the next year. We're now working to choose our 2012 riders and our target is to continue working with the best talent available. I take this opportunity to thank for their trust Kawasaki Europe, Tamura, Yoda, Raulo and Steve as well as Kawasaki Italy".
